If your service does not operate under Alert Level 3:
Update your Centre Calendar, to:
1- Emergency Closure – if it is not possible for you to open at Alert Level 3, please see the Ministry’s pānui for these situations.
2- Service Closed – if your service opts to not operate under Alert Level 3.
NB: If you are not charging fees, you can opt to:
1. Remove the tick from the “Charge” box in the Centre Calendar for each day applicable – this will charge fees at the rate applicable for that number of days; or
2. Remove the tick from the “Charge” box on the sign in sheets each day for children you do not wish to charge fees for – this will charge fees on a pro rata basis.
NB: If Emergency Closure has been selected, create daily Sign In Sheets, and mark all children as absent.
If your service does operate in October/Alert Level 3:
1- Select either
a. “Emergency Closure” – if your service is not able to open or
b. “EC12 Service Open – with attendances”.
2- Create Child Daily Sign in Sheets and mark children’s actual attendances/absences.
a. You may wish to remove the tick from the “Charge” box on the sign in sheets if you do not wish to charge fees for some children.
3- Create Staff Daily Timesheets and mark staff’s actual worked activities each day, if your service is open (or if you use Infocare for your payroll).
